Ohio Technical College Moves Its Powersport Institute Programs to the Downtown Campus
CLEVELAND, Ohio, July 27, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Since 2007, Ohio Technical College has provided its Powersport Institute Programs from its Eastern Campus in North Randall. The College recently took advantage of an opportunity to consolidate the Powersport training programs that include motorcycles, ATVs, and more to custom remodeled facility at its Downtown Cleveland campus. The college will continue its almost 50-year tradition of providing elite training in the vehicle repair, welding, and motorcycle/sport equipment categories all in one location.
We are very excited by this opportunity to offer all of our accredited programs from a single campus in our historical home of Cleveland, Ohio. Consolidating our operations to a single campus lets us enhance the services offered to our students, while 'bringing home' our unique powersports training programs to the place where they started.
William Hantl, President of Ohio Technical College
Ohio Technical College was founded in 1969 as Ohio Diesel Tech and has continuously grown to offer technology training programs in auto and diesel mechanics, including elite programs supporting generator equipment manufacturers and BMW through its STEP program, and a comprehensive welding technology program. With the addition of powersport programs including metric and V-Twin motorcycle/ATV training, the College's downtown campus can now serve all students interested in these technology fields in programs ranging from 12 to 18 months, and granting certificate, diploma, and associate degree credentials.
