Obtain Funeral Director Degree & Choose Mortuary Profession

Worsham College has come up with funeral service programs for those interested in funeral director education.

​Even a few years back, no one could even imagine that funeral service could be a career option. Over the years, the perception has remarkably changed for many are showing interest in pursuing funeral director degree to become a professional in the field. Previously, morticians usually used to follow the footsteps of their relatives. Gone are those days. Things are rapidly changing with more and more people applying to embalming school and college to get funeral director degree and mortuary science degree.

The Worsham College Program is strategically designed for twelve months, meaning one can apply at any times of the year, however, enrollment process takes place in March and September. The institute treats each and every candidate equally adhering to the personal policy for faculty and admission policy for students, regardless of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, marital status or veteran status.

People from different strata of the society can take part in the program to be educated in mortuary science and pursue a career in this line. Those who have completed some embalming school or those who have experience in the funeral home will be given preference. Different states have different rules regarding amount of schooling which is necessary before the enrollment.

They are operating in 50 states, providing ample scope and opportunity for both men and women who want to pursue mortuary as a career. Apart from 50 states, they are also operating in foreign countries. The school is accredited by the federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.  

Students can enroll either of the two programs; both are twelve months course. They will award a diploma in Mortuary Science in the first place, followed by an Associate Degree in Applied Science. The curriculum for both courses is same. All the entrance requirements of the college as outlined by the state must be duly met.
