Northwest Arkansas-Produced Podcast is Top Flash Briefing in Business Category on Amazon Alexa Skills

Business Leadership Series Reaches Top Spot in Business Category on Amazon Alexa Skills

The Business Leadership Series, a popular podcast and radio show hosted by Derek Champagne, Northwest Arkansas business owner and entrepreneur, is the #1 Amazon Alexa Skills series in the business category. The series airs daily on iHeartRadio.com, iTunes, Amazon Daily Flash Briefing and, weekly, on ESPN 99.5 FM.

The Business Leadership Series is the top result when “business” is searched in Amazon’s Alexa Skills section. In part, because of the series’ five-star rating, fresh content and meaningful reviews, it lands even higher than Fox Business, Harvard Business Review, NPR's Business Story of the Day and Business Insider.

The Alexa Flash Briefing platform provides bite-sized, daily content tailored to each listener's interests, which can be initiated at users convenience.

"There are over 50 million Alexa devices in homes, but only 7500 Flash Briefings,” said Jeffrey Smith, founder of Alexa Guy, a service which, in part, optimizes client briefings for discoverability (more than 3 percent of Alexa Flash Briefings are clients of Alexa Guy). “This is a new content platform that's growing fast. Companies and individuals who get in now are positioning themselves to succeed in the new ‘Voice-First’ world."

"Derek and his team always provide great content to their listeners, and that's the key to succeeding on Alexa,” said Smith. “These Flash Briefings are not advertisements, they're a new kind of content that is quick, daily and actionable."

The Business Leadership Series is a popular podcast and radio show, broadcast on ESPN regionally, which hosts entrepreneurs, celebrity personalities, industry leaders and those who offer valuable insight and anecdotes. Guests have included: John Oates (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee), George Maloof (former Sacramento Kings owner), Michael Levin (Shark Tank, Politico), Nick Friedman (Oprah, Millionaire Matchmaker, Shark Tank), Shuly Oletzky (Huffington Post), Devin Thorpe (Forbes Magazine), Mike Caprari (The Profit), Henry Ho (Field Agent) and many other influencers.
