The company acquired the Comodo Positive SSL Certificate and the RapidSSL Certificate along with GeoTrust Website Anti-Malware Software. NJE will employ GeoTrust on a daily basis, scanning for malware on their systems

Comodo Positive SSL and RapidSSL both provide a 256-bit encryption capability, 2048-bit signatures and a $10,000 warranty if there is damage stemming from a security breach. NJE has implemented two certificates in case one malfunctions. SSL is a protocol that creates a secure, encrypted connection between a browser and a server.
The GeoTrust software scans and analyzes web pages for identifiable malicious code that can infect corporate systems. It also monitors systems to identify malicious activity to enable easy clean-up of the infected site. Malware is an abbreviated term meaning “malicious software.”
