New Pō Light Religion Announced, Members Welcome.

Ed Edward Platzberg, founder of the Pō Light 'religion', today announced that the faith was today more than just a twitter hashtag, and was actually 'real', if by real you mean, "has issued a press release."

Buoyed by recent attention due to their inclusion in Chaos Theory, the critically acclaimed new novel by Colin Robertson. Ed decided it was time. “Time to realize that the burrito is ready and the microwave timer is just going to keep dinging forever until you get up off the sofa, “ he said.

Officially due November, 2015, from leading beverage-name-inspired publisher Gin & Tonic Press (http://www.gintonicpress.com), the book presents the Pō Light religion as consequential and even pivotal—ideas directly contrary to Pō Light church doctrine. Ed recently described the book as heretical and began advising everyone to read it, to know what they should not be reading. He lays the blame squarely on reviewers, who have been touting the book as something good.

New members are welcome to come follow, lead, or both - perhaps by walking around in some sort of circle...

Ed Platzberg, His Wholly Irrelevance

“... fine Dr. Strangelove–ian satire...exceedingly clever and entertaining and, at times, spot-on loony... there are also some sublimely silly passages whose deadpan musings recall the late Douglas Adams. ”  – Kirkus Reviews

When the news all seems bad in the world, Colin Robertson's raucous farce, Chaos Theory, a "feel good story about the end of the world," puts an amusingly absurd spin on heavy affairs. His variety pack of eccentric characters--terrorists, politicians, and scientists--are sketched out in witheringly funny detail alongside a fast-moving plot. Despite the daunting premise, there's no fear in seeing this book through to the end (of the world). – Forward Reviews

Chaos Theory, billed as a ‘Feel Good Story About the End of the World, purports to be the story of one man’s journey to find meaning in an absurd universe that would take the life of his wife and only daughter. “How that could be funny, is beyond me,” said Ed in a recent interview, “Of course I haven’t read it. I’ll let you know when it become available as a talking book, or a video game or a tweet.”

The Pō Light Faith was founded in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, on the belief that we are almost all inherently average and inconsequential. There may be a chosen people out there who are following the true God(s), but we haven’t found them yet. Pō Lights are on an indefinite quest to seek and find the one truth faith and its (optional) messiah.
