Known as Jackson-Lee Inc. at the time Bill Pearson joined the John Deere firm located in Flora, Indiana in March 1972, with Pete Jackson and Bill Lee changing the name to Jackson-Lee-Pearson, Inc. In 1979, Pete Jackson and Bill Pearson bought out Bill Lee but kept the name Jackson-Lee-Pearson, as it still is today. Then in 1989, Pete Jackson retired, leaving Bill Pearson as sole owner of Jackson-Lee-Pearson, Inc. In 1991, Jackson-Lee-Pearson, Inc. purchased the Frankfort location, formerly known as Farmer's Service Equipment, from Bob Perry and Tom Daniels. After graduating from Ball State University in 1993, Bill's youngest son, Jason, started in the John Deere business and currently manages the Frankfort location.
