New Jio Health App for Better Health Released: Expected to Improve Health Care for All Generations

Jio Health announces a new mobile platform for both an iOS app and Android app for health management. Designed to track weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, nutrition, medications, medical records and more, the application also brings users and their loved-ones together with sharing of information; a revolutionary step towards remote caregiving. The application is currently available for iOS.

Jio Health recently announced the release of their new mobile platform, which empowers users worldwide to take control of their health and care for the ones they love. The Jio Health mobile platform is comprised of both an iOS app and Android app (coming soon) and enables users to manage their chronic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease and hypertension while sharing their health progress with their family, friends and care providers in a secure group called the “Halo”.

With Jio Health, users can effortlessly track their weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, nutrition and more. The platform syncs with wireless fitness bands like Fitbit, Apple HealthKit, and Jawbone alongside wireless glucometers and blood pressure cuffs. Intuitive graphs, goal-setting and deep insights provide users with a comprehensive solution to achieve their health and fitness milestones.

Additionally, Jio Health also translates a user’s complex medication regimen into an intuitive, daily schedule with subtle reminders that ensure that users never skip a dose. Adding medications is easy with Jio Health’s powerful medication database covering all medications and supplements from Advil to Zantac (A-Z). Healthcare systems will benefit from Jio Health’s ability to reinforce medication adherence and medication reconciliation across multiple providers and care facilities.

Jio Health helps users go paperless and securely stores their insurance cards, allergies, conditions and all health documents in one place. This means that X-rays, lab reports and ultrasounds can also be stored and referenced at the patient’s fingertips.

“We believe in life's unlimited potential and are committed to inspiring this generation to lead more healthy and enriched lives” indicated Raghu Rai, Founder and CEO of Jio Health.

The Jio Halo brings users and their loved ones together on the journey to better health.  With Jio Health, the user is in full control of their health data and can share what they want with whom they want. This is a revolutionary step towards remote caregiving, as loved ones may securely access their loved ones’ health data, medications and profiles anytime and anywhere.  This allows a user’s Halo to receive real-time alerts if blood sugar levels get high or medications doses are skipped.

“This could revolutionize the way loved ones stay close to and monitor their aging parents and grandparents” stated Jio spokesperson “If Grandpa’s blood sugar levels get too high, it can be monitored by the family—If an aging mother wants to stay in her own home rather than be cared for and forgets a dose of medication, her family members can view it and remind her.  It is quite an amazing application.”

The Application is currently available at no charge and can be downloaded on the Apple App store (Android coming soon).
