New Indie Film "Vigilante" to Premiere at Landmark Arts Cinema

Female action producer/director, Dena Rivera showcases short film

"Vigilante," a new independent film by Demar Productions’ Dena Rivera (Force©), will be screened at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 20, at Landmark Arts Cinema, Midtown Atlanta. Following the screening, several members of the cast and crew will participate in a Q&A session with the audience. The lone screening is open to the public.

"Vigilante" is an action thriller that examines the actions of a desperate young man who, after the brutal rape and murder of his sister, struggles to keep his sanity. The tipping point -- the depraved monster who committed the crime is set free on a technicality.

Dena Rivera wrote and directed the film and it was produced by Caroline Josey Karoki, (Amnesty) for Demar Productions in association with Light Vision Media/ Larry Robertson - Director of Photography.  The cast features Nia Miranda, John Emil D’Angelo, Ryan Monolopolus and David A. Cole.

The film runs just under 20 minutes and will be distributed by Cleeng on VOD and all digital platforms August 20 with the limited theatrical presence.
