New England Direct Marketing Association Honors Nancie Freitas of Constant Contact As 2011 Direct Marketer of the Year

Association spotlights excellence in direct marketing at the annual event

Boston, MA, - Nancie Freitas, Chief Marketing Officer for Constant Contact, was named Direct Marketer of the Year by the New England Direct Marketing Association (NEDMA) during the association's Annual Awards Show, held earlier this month at Bentley University. Freitas is responsible for the overall market positioning and brand strategy at Constant Contact and has an impressive track record working with subscription-based business models.

In addition to the Direct Marketer of the Year Award, NEDMA also gave out its prestigious Lighthouse Award and its Prodigy Award. This year, the Lighthouse Award
went to Overdrive Interactive in recognition of the support the company provides to NEDMA and for its commitment to advancing the education of direct marketers. Harry Gold, Founder and CEO accepted the award on behalf of Overdrive.

This year's Prodigy Award recipient was Alexandra Proelss, Retail Marketing Manager for Sperry Top-Sider. The NEDMA Prodigy award is bestowed upon a young professional with extreme skills and talents, demonstrated at a young age.
