New Haven Law Firm Supports Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry
Online, December 18, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The attorneys and staff at the New Haven law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. recently held a food and clothing drive to benefit the Loaves & Fishes ministry at St. Paul & St. James Episcopal Church, Olive Street, New Haven. This ministry began with a food pantry and has expanded to include the Clothing Closet with clothes available for men, women and children, an inviting children's area where children can read and play while their parents select food and clothing, and free blood pressure screening and basic medical check-ups performed by Yale medical students. Loaves & Fishes depends on donations and the helping hands of volunteers to provide these services.
Employees of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith are fortunate to enjoy their holidays with friends and family and they especially wanted to mark this time of year and good fortune as a time of giving. The firm's collection for Loaves & Fishes included monetary donations, six boxes of non-perishable food and two large bags of gently used clothing.
