Neopay Announces Julian Griffiths' Promotion To COO

Neopay Ltd announces Julian Griffiths has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer

Leading compliance specialist Neopay has been promoted Julian Griffiths to the Board as Chief Operating Officer. Julian Griffiths has been central to the delivery of Neopay's authorisation and auditing services since he joined the company from the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in January 2010.

Neopay's CEO, Craig James, said: "Julian has been a significant contributor to the success of Neopay over the past 15 months - we are experiencing record levels of growth. Julian has been vital in maintaining our reputation for high standards of delivery during our rapid expansion. With this appointment we are very optimistic about our continued success in the future."

Neopay specialises in the development, authorisation, and maintenance of organisations that operate within the EU payment services industry. The sector in which they operate is evolving rapidly, due to changes in European legislation - namely the new Electronic Money Directive- affecting the industry throughout the European Union. Neopay is ideally placed to take advantage of the regulatory changes.

Neopay Ltd reported a record growth of 300% in their last financial year. In a short space of time the company has established itself as the European market leader in the provision of specialist compliance services to e-money and payment institutions. The past year saw Neopay representatives appointed to a number of industry bodies, including the board of Prepaid International Forum.

Julian commented on his appointment: "This is a very exciting time for Neopay and I am delighted to be a part of it. I am especially pleased that, as well as having responsibility for our core services, I will have a major role in growing our new Virtual Compliance Service - I think it is going to be a game changer."
