Neirbi Named Semi-Finalist for Travel Startup Competition in Las Vegas

Demand prediction startup, Neirbi Analytics, has been named a semi-finalist and will compete at EyeforTravel’s 2016 Startup and Innovation Awards competition in Las Vegas this week.

Neirbi uses proprietary data science technology to analyze how consumer behavior is impacted by factors like weather, disease outbreaks, traffic, flight delays, economic conditions and more.

Neirbi’s platform automates functions, like collecting local event and calendar information, to make a hotelier’s life easier.

“Gone are the days of Google searches to determine what area events might increase occupancy. Neirbi automatically tracks and delivers dates to our hotel clients for sporting events, commencements, city-wides and even weddings,” said Ryan Duques.

The predictive engine processes the data from dozens of real-time feeds and automatically alerts the hotel when a combination of conditions are ripe for increased demand. 

“Once an alert is issued, clients are able to automatically deploy pre-planned marketing and advertising campaigns to target the right customer at precisely the right time,” described Lisa Miksis, co-founder of Neribi.

 “We know ahead of time what condition or combination of conditions will impact demand so our hotel clients have time to prepare marketing creative in advance. The campaign then patiently sits at the starting gate waiting for the Neribi platform to automatically trigger it when conditions align,” she said.

Arabian, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Steelhead Ventures and Tim Henstchel, CEO, HotelPlanner.

The competition takes place during the EyeforTravel North America 2016, which is held at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
