Need An Excuse? Usability Counts Launches New IPhone App That Helps People Make Excuses

San Francisco, Calif- Usability Counts, a User Experience and Social Media strategy consulting firm, launched a new free iPhone app. This new app provides users worldwide with instant access to excuses and thousands of ways to escape obligations

Available through the Apple iTunes store, the application features enhanced search
options, allowing users to browse by category, keyword or by simply shaking their
iPhones to find quality excuses for almost any situation. Users can also share
excuses with their friends via text, email, Facebook and Twitter as well as comment
on or rate each one.
"We all make excuses, why not have a little fun with them? We created Pick An
Excuse to be an entertaining platform for people to interact with obligation and
laugh at stress," said Patrick Neeman, managing principal of Usability Counts. "The
app gives users clever, and sometimes funny, excuses to either get out of a situation
or commiserate over common obligations."
Nonâ€iPhone users can also browse and share excuses with their friends and check
for updates for the release of Android and other Smartphone applications at
www.pickanexcuse.com. The application will also be further optimized to fully take
advantage of Social Media, and future versions of the app will have locationâ€based
services, so you'll have excuses that are optimized for climate ("Sorry, I can't come
in - today's a snow day!").
Those in dire need can request custom excuses, submit their own, or share scenarios
via the Pick An Excuse Facebook Fan Page:
http://www.facebook.com/PickAnExcuse.
The free application is now available for download on iTunes or at:
www.pickanexcuse.com.
