Jason Thompson of the Sacramento Kings will join the Potter Thomas Promise Academy of North Philadelphia for their first Annual Career day on Thursday June 2nd at 10:00am. Thompson, a native of Mount Laurel New Jersey and graduate of Rider University, will share his personal success story and address the importance of education with students ranging from Pre-K to 8th Grade.

There's a rewarding feeling that comes with learning something new and being able to share that knowledge with others, "says Thompson. I want my experience to encourage students to apply themselves to the best of their abilities," he adds.

"We are pleased to have Jason present at our Annual Career Day," said Dywonne P. Davis-Harris, Principal of Potter Thomas Promise Academy. "I believe his expertise and knowledge, as well as his personal journey will motivate our students to look beyond their present circumstances to pursue and achieve their dreams. "
