Naumi Hospitality announced today, through its Singapore headquarters that it has entered into an agreement to acquire and assume management of Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland Airport. The 193-room property located in Auckland Airport Precinct will be operated under its award-winning Naumi brand and is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2015. The acquisition of this two-hectare property marks the group’s first foray into New Zealand, making it its first property with major meeting facilities that can accommodate MICE groups for up to 200 persons.

The yet-to-be-named hotel will be closed for an extensive renovation to be retrofitted into a contemporary and modern development much akin to its unique hotel concepts in Singapore. Room sizes start from 27 square metres and all guestrooms come attached with a balcony, while those on the first floor open up into the gardens. The rooms, public and F&B spaces will be extensively stripped and retrofitted with a new interior design and is slated to be opened in the fourth quarter of 2015.

"This is a very exciting project for us. It will allow us to develop the boutique Naumi brand into a full-fledge millennial hospitality brand with different product concepts. With two award-winning hotels, Naumi Hotel and Naumi Liora in Singapore, this acquisition will be a big step forward and a testament to our group's drive towards the growth of Naumi Hospitality into leading markets."
