Natalia Sishodia Pledges Support for Save the Children

In a recent show of philanthropy and generosity, New York Real Estate Broker at Brown Harris Stevens, Natalia Sishodia has committed to becoming a child sponsor through international charitable organization Save the Children.

Save the Children aims to improve the lives of children around the world by increasing standards of education and healthcare, and by ensuring future economic opportunities. It also provides vital emergency aid in times of war, during violent conflicts, and following natural disasters.

Natalia Sishodia joins another 183,000 fellow child sponsors, and millions of additional supporters, in changing the lives of children, both in the U.S. and globally, through their kindness.

The charity does incredible work.

Originally founded in London, England, in 1919, the organization now operates in a further 29 countries. Called the Save the Children Alliance, this network of worldwide organizations works together to support children in over 120 countries.

Save the Children promotes better rights for young people, particularly by enforcing the UN Declaration of the Rights of the Child.

Under Chief Executive and former Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt, the organization also arranges emergency-relief efforts, in order to protect children from the effects of war and violence.

"It's a cause close to the hearts of many people, myself included," says Natalia Sishodia of her support for Save the Children.

"The charity does incredible work," Sishodia continues, "helping tens of millions of underprivileged and at-risk children around the world each year."

Indeed, Save the Children directly reached over 50 million children last year through its work and the work of its partners. This is a number which has increased by 10 percent over the previous five years alone, thanks in no small part to the benevolence of patrons such as Sishodia.

"We believe every child deserves a future," says the charity. "Around the world, we give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm."

The organization continues, "We do whatever it takes for children, both in a day-to-day sense and in times of crisis, to transform their lives and the future we share."

Of Sishodia's recent pledge of support, Save the Children remarks, "Natalia, thank you for helping make the future bright for all the children in your sponsorship country. We know it will be as rewarding for you as it is life-changing for the children whose health, education and protection you've helped to ensure."

They continue, "Your decision to become a child sponsor makes you part of an amazing global group of more than 183,000 compassionate child sponsors and millions of supporters making an enormous difference for children in the U.S. and around the world."
