Online, July 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Movie star Nicole Kidman is having them, along with a growing list of Hollywood and Australian celebrities, and now, according to Marc Azzi Hair Salon, more and more everyday Australian woman are choosing to have Brazilian Blowouts over other Keratin hair treatments.
In a recent interview on 60 Minutes, actor Nicole Kidman attributed her new straighter hair style to the Brazilian Blowout Keratin treatments she is having, a revelation that led to an instant spike in demand for the same treatments in Australia.
Sydney-based Marc Azzi Hair Salon, which offers Global Keratin treatments and Brazilian Blowout products under licence in Australia, is now averaging between 60-70 treatments per week, with demand growing from week to week as the word continues to spread.
"This is a revolutionary hair treatment that treats the follicle of the hair to remove all the frizz and fuzz, and by eliminating the need for hair straightening for three to four months it saves women literally an hour of hair styling every day," says salon owner Marc Azzi.
"It's now the most popular hair treatment in Australia. When ladies have a shower they dry their hair off, and then have to blow dry and iron it. After this treatment they just blast it with a dryer or towel dry it and that's it. It gets rid of all the frizz and the fuzz."
"Over 90 minutes, we wash their hair with a special cleanser, apply the keratin treatment and Brazilian Blowout product, blow dry and iron their hair. Ninety minutes of their time will give them months of heavenly hair."
"The difference between this and other keratin treatments is that it can be rinsed immediately. No down time! The minute you leave the salon, you can wash and air dry your hair, and it will be smooth, frizz-free and radiant!"
Mr Azzi says his salon is providing treatments to Australian celebrities, including media professionals, and over two years has provided more than 2,000 Brazilian Blowouts to people from all walks of life.
"We have mums and their daughters coming in, we have husbands buying it for their wives and boyfriends for their girlfriends - they are asking for it specifically because they know it works and will save their partners lots of time."
Mr. Azzi adds: "This is the most popular treatment in Australia and I'm glad to bring it to Australia so Australian ladies have beautiful hair too. It is completely safe for the hair and the most advanced soothing hair treatment on the market."
"One of warning though is there are now there are a lot of look-alike generic brands out there, with unofficial salons claiming to offer Keratin treatments and Brazilian Blowout products, but they are not using the genuine brand products. Their results often don't work, while we guarantee all our treatments and products."
