Stevie Awards (American Business Awards)
Monitronics was awarded two American Business Awards (Stevie® Awards) for the company’s work in the security industry. More than 3,400 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.
Monitronics won a Gold Stevie® award in the Best Business Book category for its Security Dealer Manual. The manual is a valuable resource that provides new Monitronics Authorized Dealers with a comprehensive overview of the dealer program, marketing and operations tactics, sales training and tips, and development opportunities.
The company was also awarded a Bronze Stevie® in the category of Communications or PR Campaign of the Year: Marketing: Business-to-Business. The campaign for ISC West 2015 emphasized a theme of “Work Hard, Play Hard” to highlight the dealer program’s innovative and technology-forward platform. They used an emoji-based theme as a fun way to communicate the concept and highlight the company’s competitive multiples, user-friendly technology, dealer support, and continued growth. As a result of the campaign, 166 prospects registered for a VIP event to meet the sales team face-to-face. Of those who registered, 30 percent advanced further into the sales pipeline.
Hermes Creative Awards
Monitronics received a Gold Hermes Creative Award for its Dealer Prospect website, in the Website/Overall Business to Business category. The award was based on the evaluation of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals judges. The website, which launched a redesigned version in March, provides resources and tools to better serve prospective dealers interested in joining the Monitronics Authorized Dealer Program. The site overhaul provides a dealer program overview, including Alarm Response Center data, dealer program benefits, FAQs and more. For additional information, visit MoniDealerProgram.com.
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. The Gold Award is presented to entrants that exceed the high standards of the industry norm.
SDM Magazine
In addition, Monitronics has moved up to number four on the SDM Magazine’s “Top 100” list for 2016. The annual list ranks the top 100 security companies by recurring monthly revenue. Previously, the company was number five in 2015 and plans to progress year over year. Among the top 10 companies ranked in 2015, only six are ranked again in 2016.
The SDM 100 has been published since 1991. Its primary objective is to measure consumer dollars gained by alarm companies, in order to present an account of the size of the market captured by the 100 largest security providers.
