Minute Drivers: New Car Service App Puts Safety First
Washington, DC, March 5, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Minute Drivers is a new transit startup company that allows customers to book rides on demand through an application on their smartphone, similar to popular rivals, Uber and Lyft— what sets them apart is their pledge to offer the safest experience possible, by pairing the convenience of technology with the quality standards of a traditional car service.
Founded by transportation industry veteran, Edward Mbeche, Minute Drivers was designed to eliminate many of the issues users find with other transportation service companies such as sketchy drivers, inconsistent navigation, inaccessible customer service, and lapsed or non-existent insurance policies.
"My success is founded on the principles of quality service, and continual innovation," Mbeche said.

Safety First
Mbeche not only guarantees that all his Minute Drivers are subject to rigorous criminal background checks and driving record standards, but that each of the drivers is also trained to expertly navigate the area they are driving in. This ensures that the riders aren’t at the mercy of GPS navigation and map software en route to their destination. Also, as an added precaution, each of the Minute Drivers’ cars is insured with up to $1 to $5 million dollars in coverage.
Customer Service
Just like other car service apps, Minute Drivers allows riders to order and track the exact location of their car in real time through the application, but also gives customers the option to book a car in advance through a live dispatch center over the phone, or through the Minute Drivers website. Customer service is available 24 hours a day, every day, so there is always a live person for riders to talk to about their concerns, and help find lost belongings.
Reliable
Designed for all types of transportation needs, there are three ride options available including taxi, black car, and ride share. Minute Drivers goes the extra mile to meet clients’ needs by dispatching additional drivers to the customer’s pick up location should the first driver encounter traffic delays.
How Minute Drivers Got Started
Edward Mbeche, the founder and CEO of Minute Drivers, knows the transportation industry. After leaving college with a degree in computer management, Mbeche worked at Blackberry for two years, before starting a career as a taxi dispatcher, and founding his first business Global Sedan Service, which is still growing and going strong 13 years later.
“My success is founded on the principles of quality service, and continual innovation,” Mbeche said.
“Though the car service on demand market might be getting crowded, there’s always room for another player, if the player has what it takes to distinguish itself from the competition.”
Help Minute Drivers Get Funded
Minute Drivers is launching their car service nationwide, and estimates $25,000 dollars in start up costs, which include design, and software development of the highest quality technology possible.
