Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Announces Next Meeting of the Sustainable Business Council on July 23, 2013

Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the next meeting of the Sustainable Business Council will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. The Council consists of members of the chamber who wish to promote sustainability within their business, as well as the Miami Beach community.
Founded in 2006, the mission of the Sustainable Business Council is advancing three pillars of sustainable business development: economic prosperity, environmental responsibility and community engagement. This is achieved through members of the chamber as well as the community as a whole. The Council also strives to increase the reputation of the Miami Beach Chamber as a leader is sustainable business by increasing awareness and promoting the city as a green economic destination.
The Council meets every 4th Tuesday of every month, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce conference room.
This is only one of the Miami Beach Chamber's many programs. The Chamber also has a Women's Business Council which hosts events throughout the year to empower and promote women's businesses to succeed and grow in the community, as well as a Tourism & Hospitality Council which holds a trade show and tourism expo in the fall.
One of the chamber's most popular programs is the Emerging Leadership Council, a new program with a select group of young professionals who are leaders in their profession. These members of the council prepare for future leadership roles in the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and reach out to new members to promote and encourage new relationships.
Council members as well as guests are welcome to attend the Sustainable Business Council meeting on July 23, which will take place at 1920 Meridian Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida.
