Metallurgical Engineer Joins Laboratory Testing Inc.
Online, May 30, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Greg Fackler has accepted the position of Metallurgical Engineer at Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI). In this capacity, he joins the team of Metallurgical Engineers in the company's Metallography Lab and will be responsible for performing the full-range of metallography services including microstructure examinations, macrostructure examinations and microhardness testing in accordance with AMS, ASTM, ASME and MIL specifications. Fackler will also handle SEM analysis and other testing and evaluation required for conducting failure analysis.
Previously, Fackler worked at Allied Tube & Conduit as a Plant Metallurgist where he conducted internal audits, supervised the Quality Department and performed tests on materials and specimens to ISO standards. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now called Missouri University of Science and Technology) with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
The metallography services performed at Laboratory Testing Inc. are PRI/Nadcap and A2LA accredited and are completed according to specified internal and industry procedures. In addition, LTI provides accredited chemistry, mechanical testing, corrosion testing and nondestructive testing services.
