Merna Victor's New Book 'The Squirrel Family' Shares the Outdoor Adventure of 2 Children With Their Mom as the Kids Come Up With a Bright Idea

Fulton Books author Merna Victor, an excellent author, has completed her most recent book "The Squirrel Family": a delightful walk in the park where Dennis and Susie enjoyed the fresh air with their mom Margie. Suddenly, after seeing dogs and birds and squirrels, they tell their mom something she never saw coming. Will their wish be granted?

"One fall day, Mom Margie and her two children—Dennis, nine, and Susie, eight—happily walk on a two-way bicycle path surrounded by trees that is frequented by walkers and joggers as well as bicyclists. They listen to birds and watch squirrels run across the path, up the trees, and chase one another. Occasionally, someone walks by, pushing a carriage and/or walking a dog.

Dennis turns to his mother. 'Can we get a pet? We really want one.'

Their mom smiles broadly, nodding her head yes.

Dennis looks at Susie then at his mother and says that they would like to adopt a squirrel. Margie looks surprised and pulls out her cell phone. 'I was not picturing a squirrel, but let's check out if they would make a good house pet.'

Thus begins The Squirrel Family.

This is the author's second children's book."

Published by Fulton Books, Merna Victor's amusing storybook is filled with colorful prints that tell a tale about children wanting to have a pet. But before anything else, they must see if the pet they wanted is fit to be sheltered or if they are better off running in the wild.

It's a fun and amazing narrative even adults can enjoy!
