Meredith Brinkley Named General Manager of the Homewood Suites by Hilton, Virginia Beach

Online, March 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Meredith Brinkley has been appointed general manager of the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Virginia Beach, Va., announced Gerald P. Chase, chief operating officer and president of New Castle Hotels & Resorts, which manages the all-suites property.

Brinkley joins the New Castle team from the Residence Inn by Marriott in nearby Norfolk, Va., where she served as general manager for the past three years. Prior to that she held managerial positions at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Chesapeake, Va., the Residence Inn by Marriott also in Chesapeake, and the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Norfolk. She began her hospitality career in 1999 as a front desk supervisor for the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, where she was named associate of the year in 2003. Brinkley has extensive training in Marriott sales and management courses.
