On May 21-22, 2011, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation will host the inaugural Run for the Dream, a weekend-long event featuring a half marathon, an 8K, music, fireworks and more. Athletes will run through Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area. The course is stunning, and the 8K is ideal for first-time racers because the course is flat and manageable.

This spring, interpretive programs at the Palace and the Capitol are more engaging than ever, placing guests in key moments in history. In the evenings, the Historic Area will be "Live after Five" with a robust schedule of programs spanning enjoying colonial brews at Chowning's Tavern to cresset lighting, music and dancing. With Spring Stories, there is no better time to be a part of the story.
