Medimix International CEO Henry Gazay to speak at Doctors 2.0 conference (Basil Strategies) June 22-23, 2011,in Paris. VoxMed, global healthcare community developed in partnership with Medimix, will be the Innovator Sponsor of this event.

Medimix International announced today that CEO Henry Gazay will be a guest speaker of the upcoming Doctors 2.0 conference organized by Basil Strategies, June 22-23, 2011, at the Cite Universitaire in Paris. VoxMed, the global community of healthcare professionals which was developed in partnership with Medimix, will be the Innovator Sponsor of this event. Medimix International is recognized as a pioneer in the use of 2.0 technologies and social media in market research, and the topic "Impact of Web 2.0 in Healthcare from the Physicians Perspective" is one with which the company has had extensive experience.

Over the last few years, Medimix has conducted numerous studies with medical professionals around the world and will share what has been learned about physicians' use of the internet and their involvement in social media communities. "It comes as a surprise to many research and marketing experts that physicians are already so intimately involved with the internet, even in remote sites around the globe," remarked Henry Gazay.

It was partly in response to the perceived need of these medical professionals for an exclusive site, where they could gather and exchange information with their colleagues, that Medimix participated in the development of VoxMed, the first global community of healthcare professionals. Appropriately enough as Innovator Sponsor of Doctors 2.0, VoxMed will be presented during the conference and examples showcased of the ways in which pharmaceutical companies can engage physicians, pharmacists or nurses around the world, in a series of activities ranging from market research to CME, advisory boards e-advertising and other exclusive interactions.

The Doctors 2.0 conference promises to be more than lectures, with an offering of interactive workshops, a Mobile Application demo Party, contests, and exhibits offered to the various professional and patient associations, pharmaceutical companies, government representatives, and payors.
