Mason's National Day of Celebration
Scottish Rite Leader, Ronald Seale, will Keynote Masons' National Day of Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Completion of Mt. Rushmore On September 8th at Mt. Rushmore Amphitheater
Rapid City, SD, August 25, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The Masonic Grand Lodge of South Dakota is proud to announce that Ronald A. Seale, Sovereign Grand Commander, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, will headline the Mason’s National Day of Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Completion of Mt. Rushmore and our Masonic Heritage on Thursday, September 8th at the Mt. Rushmore National Memorial Amphitheater as the Keynote Speaker. The celebration begins at 10 AM, and is open to the public.
Seale, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana was installed as Sovereign Grand Commander on October 7th, 2003. He began his Masonic career in 1962 and entered law practice in 1974 in Baton Rouge. Seale is also active in amateur radio and holds a private pilot’s license.
Also speaking will be Ridgley Gilmour, President of the George Washington National Masonic Memorial (GWNMM), located in Alexandria Virginia. Gilmour is a Past Grand Master of Masons of Utah.
The GWNMM is a memorial to honor and perpetuate the memory, character and virtues of the man who best exemplifies what Freemasons are and ought to be, Brother George Washington. The George Washington Masonic National Memorial was recently added to the United States government’s official list of National Historic Landmarks.
George Braatz, Executive Secretary of the Masonic Service Association of North America wraps up this impresive list of speakers. Braatz is a Past Grand Master of Masons of Ohio. The MSA, originally formed to provide aide to our military servicemen, has also provide over 10 million dollars in disaster relief efforts.
