Market Traders Institute Fights for a Cure With Florida Hospital's Pink Army in 4th Annual Trading for Ta-Ta's Campaign
Lake Mary, Fla, October 5, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Market Traders Institute, Inc. is proud to announce their 4th Annual Trading for Ta-Ta’s Campaign, with an ultimate goal of donating $25,000 - their largest goal yet - to Florida Hospital’s Pink Army. A localized company for financial education, MTI chose to partner with Pink Army due to their continued life-changing efforts of diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating breast cancer patients, both men and women, in Central Florida. All of the donations earned throughout this campaign will be donated to supporting those fighting the battle of their lives, and those who have survived the fight.
For Joshua Martinez, Senior Market Analyst, and main trader for a cure, he believes “every human being has a moral obligation to help out those who are in need.” He says, “Everyone has a different level of how far they are wanting, able, or willing to go. This is just a small way of our participation to try and make the world a better place.”
Raising this money means hundreds of women will be afforded the opportunity for free early detection screenings, which can lead to early treatment and successful results. Never do we want a family to experience the loss of a loved one due to breast cancer, like my family did several years ago. Every dollar going to research and early detection matters, so we are hoping to far surpass our $25,000 goal this year.

MTI has agreed to match their student’s donations, up to $10,000, and will provide a special trading session with Jared Martinez, the FX Chief™, and Chris Irvin, Director of Equities Education, to every student who donates. In addition, Joshua Martinez, Senior Market Analyst, will trade for a cure for the third year in a row, with all profits being donated to Pink Army. He earned $4,000 in 2014, and $10,000 in 2013, the equivalent of 140 mammograms.
MTI and its employees realize that it must start with them. This is why they have several internal fundraising opportunities. They were able to raise a total of $23,000 last year with the help of bake sales and ‘Casual for a Cure,’ where employees donated to wear casual clothing. Since they have a larger goal this year, $25,000, they decided to go one step further to help in the fight. There will be a ping pong tournament, a ‘Pink Off’ costume contest, and have developed a trading system for this month, where 50% of the proceeds will go directly to Pink Army.
