Powder Springs, GA, April 10, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Maria E. Benzant, born and raised in the Dominican Republic, and an author and writer, has completed her new book, “Wingblade”: a compelling narrative about Kyle, a one-of-a-kind thirteen-year-old boy who trains to prepare himself for the incoming battles and the great responsibility that falls to him.
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Maria E. Benzant’s new book follows an enchanting account with a message of acceptance and understanding.
In every continent for ten thousand years, a very special creature is born—a creature that keeps the balance of nature at a constant. Now comes a young boy who must bear the weight of the task of keeping it undaunted.
Maria shares, “After Kyle turns 13 years of age he becomes a full adult, he becomes a Wingblade. His height is approximately six feet tall, his body type is medium built. His skin becomes strong like a diamond, absolutely impenetrable. He has wings that only become visible when he feels in danger. These wings have the appearance of feathers but in a silver color, the wings are even stronger than his skin. These wings have an extension that go around Kyle’s neck to protect it. Wingblades neck remind them they are still humans. Even though they are gifted creatures they must feel empathy toward normal humans. The skin around Kyle’s neck is fragile, he can feel pain and be hurt. But no wound inflicted on his neck can kill him. Kyle is very loving, loyal, responsible, and extremely patient. Kyle usually wears cargo pants, with a t-shirt that Slade gave him specially for Wingblades.”
Readers can purchase “Wingblade” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
