The cloud start-up adds to its existing feature set with one-click, on-demand sharing of entire applications via email.

MadeiraCloud, the Visual Integrated Management Environment (VIME), today released its latest feature to harness the power of the public cloud. The company has announced that its product, currently in public beta, will allow users to share entire cloud applications securely and easily simply by sending an email.

"MadeiraCloud provides customers with a simple cloud-based service that enables them to capitalise on the on-demand nature of the public cloud", said Daniel O'Prey, chief executive officer of MadeiraCloud. "This is of huge benefit to organisations that need demos, evaluation or training environments available within minutes. We have built a self-service application that allows anyone in your organisation, no matter how technical, to share applications stored in the cloud. Shared applications are launched on your AWS account under your terms, with the ability to strictly set limitations on availability, meaning your shared application remains entirely under your control and budgetary restraints."

Demonstration and training environments are temporary in nature, which makes them a perfect use case for the cloud. MadeiraCloud builds on top of Amazon Web Services to deliver an automated solution that anyone in an organisation can use.

The IT team only need to set up the application once, then sales or training staff can log in and send an invitation to a client via email in seconds. There's nothing more the IT team need to do, MadeiraCloud takes care of everything from launching all of the resources involved in the application and even automatically resolving the host names to the newly created instances' private IP addresses using their Intelligent Network Management technology. Crucially, the environment is not active until the client accepts the invitation, meaning companies are only paying for the required resources only when a client is using them.

MadeiraCloud dramatically decreases the delivery time of applications to clients while increasing efficiency and lowering cost.

"Cloud applications are complex and consist of multiple distributed resources," said Peng Zhao, chief technology officer of MadeiraCloud. "Being able to share a single server isn't enough, customers need the ability to share everything involved with the application - including servers, storage, network and software - as it would be deployed in a production environment, and it needs to be quickly accessible and just work."

MadeiraCloud's product is a revolutionary virtual lab solution accessed on the web as a SaaS (Software as a Service) product. It enables customers to harness the power of the public cloud and provide demos and training environments in anyone of Amazon's 7 datacenters worldwide, offering performance that would be out of the price range of all but the largest enterprises.
