Mövenpick Hotel Doha Donates Ramadan Iftar Proceeds To Charity

Mövenpick Hotel Doha pledges to donate a share of its iftar revenue to support the various charitable activities carried out by the Qatar Red Crescent Society.

Embracing the spirit of generosity during the holy month of Ramadan and in line with its unwavering sustainability efforts, the hotel is donating QR10 from every Iftar cover to the Qatar Red Crescent Society, offering its patrons the chance to enjoy a good iftar and do a good deed at the same time.

Commenting on this humanitarian initiative, Fabien Chesnais, Mövenpick Hotel Doha's General Manager said, "We take pride in knowing our contribution will make a positive impact on the welfare of the underprivileged and bring joy to our customers as well by giving them the opportunity to support a worthy cause."

A rewarding iftar buffet will be served every evening during the month of Ramadan at the Season's restaurant for only QR 140 per person. Families and groups of 10 or more as well as companies wishing to organise private iftar events can avail of special rates and tailor-made menus.

In 2011, the hotel was certified by Green Globe the worldwide sustainability system based on internationally accepted criteria for sustainable operation and management of travel and tourism businesses.

The newly renovated Mövenpick Hotel Doha redefines convenient contemporary comfort in the heart of the city. Not only does it offer 154 refurbished rooms that are welcoming, stylish and spacious, but the hotel also enjoys one of the most convenient locations in Qatar.

Located in the centre of Doha's famous Corniche, overlooking the Arabian Gulf and the striking Museum of Islamic Art, the hotel is just 5km from the international airport, within walking distance of the city and a short taxi drive from the business district.

Ultimately the hotel is a great base for getting down to business quickly and efficiently.
