Loveland's Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch Gifted A New Riding Mower
Online, May 16, 2014 (Newswire.com) - A bright orange Husqvarna riding mower showed up at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch on Tuesday, April 29th. The new Husqvarna riding mower mower was a gift from Sam and Barb Jepson of American Speed & Custom in Loveland, and was purchased from Jax Mercantile. In support of the donation, Jax Mercantile substantially discounted the riding mower.
The generous gift was given in response to the financial and emotional challenge delivered by the September 2013 floods.
Sam Jepson, owner of American Speed & Custom and a former Sylvan Dale Ranch employee, cooked up the idea with Rob Knopp, also a former Sylvan Dale Ranch employee, who is now employed at Jax. Sam and Rob said they struck a great deal on the mower with management at Jax.
When the shiny new Husqvarna showed up in the Ranch parking lot, it brought huge smiles from the unsuspecting Mark Wyscarver, Sylvan Dale's Facilities Manager who's team was having to make do with a push mower to keep the lawn. Now the lawn can be mowed in a fraction of the time, allowing Ranch staff more time to focus on much needed recovery efforts.
Jax and Sylvan Dale have shared a "give-and-take" for the past several years. Sylvan Dale purchases ranching and grounds supplies from Jax, and Jax holds their company Christmas Party at Sylvan Dale — two vital Loveland businesses helping each other succeed.
In the first photograph below, taken at the ranch, are Sylvan Dale employees Jason Hersh, Scott Atchison, and Mark Wyscarver (sitting on the mower), and Sam Jepson of American Speed & Custom. Sam Jepson is on the mower in the picture taken at Jax with other Jax Mercantile employees; Rob Knopp is in the green jacket just behind Sam.
