Life Lessons From Former President Barack Obama and How You Can Use Them to Improve Your Athletic Recruiting Process
Minneapolis, MN, January 27, 2017 (Newswire.com) - 1. "If you’re walking down the right path and you’re willing to keep walking, eventually you’ll make progress."
The athletic recruiting process can be stressful at times and overwhelming, but you must remind yourself throughout your high school career that it will be all be worth it in the end. Nothing good comes easy! UnderRecruited Preps gives student-athletes the tools to succeed and provides them exposure to college coaches.
UnderRecruited Preps is probably the best recruiting site I've used. I signed up about two weeks before camp was starting for many colleges, but when I signed up many coaches from top division 1 and division 2 schools were interested in me and I couldn't believe it.

2. "The future rewards those who press on. I don't have time to feel sorry for myself. I don't have time to complain. I'm going to press on."
For majority of high school student-athletes who are not the so called “Top-Recruits” this quote is a great example from Obama that you can use. If a college does not offer you that does not mean it is the end of the world. There are other schools out there that can use your services. Only 15% of collegiate athletic opportunities are at the D1 level. The rest are at the NCAA D2, D3, NAIA, and Junior College levels.
3. "We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition, where people want to drive fancy cars and wear nice clothes and live in nice apartments but don’t want to work hard to accomplish these things. Everyone should try to realize their full potential."
This is true also when it comes to the recruiting process. Not only do you have to PERFORM on the field but also perform in the classroom. The STUDENT always comes before the athlete and so many times you hear about how talented the kid was but never worked hard in the class room. The athletic recruiting process also takes work and UnderRecruited Preps makes the recruiting process easier and smoother.
4. "Where you are right now doesn’t have to determine where you end up."
You are in control of your destiny at the end of the day. My freshman year of high school I was the 2nd string quarterback on a team that didn’t have a winning record. I knew my goal was to be a division one quarterback so I took action and made those dreams become reality 3 years later on signing day. Believe in yourself no matter what the obstacles are and work hard. UnderRecruited Preps works with “Ranked” players and “Unranked” players, I myself was ranked in high school. The goal is to help high school athletes make their dreams a reality by getting them in front of college coaches and providing educational resources to them in a way that they understand what it’s going to take to get to the next level.
