Legacy Education Awarded 2020 School of the Year by the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools

Out of more than 300 member institutions, the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools (CAPPS) has recognized Legacy Education as their 2020 School of the Year. This great honor demonstrates Legacy Education’s commitment to offering a quality educational experience at their colleges, High Desert Medical College, Central Coast College and Integrity College of Health. 

“This is an outstanding achievement for the Legacy Education family,” said LeeAnn Rohmann, President and CEO of Legacy Education. “We are so thrilled to be honored, out of hundreds of schools, for our dedication and focus on real-world training in growing job markets. Our goal has always been to empower our students to leave a legacy of education within their own communities.”

Legacy Education has been a strong CAPPS supporter for over a decade, supporting conferences and training sessions. They are always there with support, advice and a helping hand when needed, according to the CAPPS School of the Year announcement. 

“Legacy Education has been a great supporter of the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools (CAPPS) over the years. Conferences, Webinars, Training sessions, there is always someone from Legacy attending and contributing,” stated Robert Johnson, Executive Director of CAPPS. “We are very pleased to award 'School of the Year', along with the attendant award of 'Employer of the Year', which goes to a business selected by Legacy in recognition of the importance of the employer community to our sector of Higher Education. CAPPS is blessed to have great members and the selection of Legacy Education as CAPPS 2020 School of the Year continues the tradition of honoring our best.”

Legacy Education will be honored with the CAPPS School of the Year award during the CAPPS 36th Annual Conference - Nov. 12 and 13, 2020.

Legacy Education, LLC. was founded in 2009 and currently owns and operates three nationally accredited academic institutions across five campuses in California. The primary program focus is rapidly growing allied healthcare industry along with an emphasis on veterinary and business. 

High Desert Medical College has been serving students for more than a decade and is based out of Temecula, California with campuses in Lancaster and Bakersfield. Central Coast College is located in Salinas, California with more than 35 years training students. Integrity College is located in Pasadena and was founded in 2007. All schools are nationally accredited through either Accredited by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education
