LearningRx Brain Training — Local Teen Named Student of the Year Finalist in LearningRx National Contest for Exceptional Brain Training Results
Colorado Springs, CO, July 21, 2016 (Newswire.com) - LearningRx student Rebecca Ferguson has been named one of five finalists in LearningRx's national competition celebrating the top life changing results across the country. Rebecca's parents enrolled her in personal brain training after they noticed she was having trouble focusing, remembering and completing tasks, and managing her time, and getting easily frustrated during homeschooling.
Rebecca says that before LearningRx she hated school because she didn't like feeling stupid. "I wanted to be good at school but it took a lot out of me to actually sit down and focus." Her parents say they knew she was smart, but it wasn't until they learned more about processing struggles and weak cognitive skills that they understood why things "weren't clicking" for such a smart teen. Since LearningRx, Rebecca says she's much better at managing her time, she doesn't lose things as much and she no longer feels stupid. She finished her schooly ear better than ever and on time for the first time in years.
I wanted to be good at school but it took a lot out of me to actually sit down and focus.

Rebecca's improvements mirror those of a recent Randomized Control Trial in which students made statistically significant gains after completing LearningRx personal brain training. Using fMRIs, neuroscientists found new brain connections. A compilation of recent research studies on LearningRx programs can be found in the 48-page 2016 edition of "Client Outcomes and Research Results," which can be downloaded here: http://www.learningrx.com/our-programs/learningrx-results/. The winner of the contest will be announced at the LearningRx national conference and on www.LearningRx.com on August 1.
