As the regional centres continue to be leading international source ports for fossil fuels and increasingly figure as large import and trans-shipment destinations for a wide spectrum of goods, growing demand for warehousing and cargo handling facilities is being felt across the markets.

With a wide spectrum of the leading supply chain and cargo handling players to be present at the upcoming Materials Handling Middle East 2013, the exhibition will turn the spotlight on the key issues influencing the regional warehousing industry and indicate the future direction of growth and development.

Improved Warehousing Management Systems (WMS) to better track inventory and promote efficient materials handling, labour management tools that aid operators to increase productivity with streamlined personnel management and an integrated approach to WMS and transport management systems to create an integrated supply chain, are recent developments that are currently of interest in the industry.

Materials Handling Middle East 2013 will feature a large representation from international and regional majors showcasing these latest products and services, including: Airlink, Al Shirawi, Carl Stahl, Cogri, DB Schenker, Emirates Post, Face, FAMCO, Galadari Group, Helm Hellas, Jungheinrich, Kanoo Machinery, Kardex, Liugong and United Motors.

Smaller warehousing and cargo handling operators will stand to gain by taking on board the basic elements of good warehousing management as demonstrated by the leading players. Furthermore, the benefits to commercial end-users, wholesalers & retailers, government organisations, ports & airlines and manufacturers will be evident at the exhibition where the latest trends and cost effective solutions for warehousing and other logistics needs will be showcased.

Regional warehousing giants, the Galadari Group, will be debuting at Materials Handling Middle East 2013 and showcasing a spectrum of their products and services.
