Last Mile Software Elite EXTRA Garners Edison Award at Annual Ceremony
EAU CLAIRE, Wis., April 28, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Elite EXTRA, a leading cloud-based logistics software company, announced today that it is a 2022 Edison Award recipient.
The company received the prestigious award at a gala held on April 21 in Fort Myers, Fla. The Edison Awards Steering Committee worked with over 3,000 Expert Reviewers to help determine the most innovative products and services from the submissions. Of nearly 7,000 entries, there were approximately 150 companies that received awards.
Started in 1987 and named after Thomas Edison, the vision of the Edison Awards is guided by his legacy, vision and his Menlo Park team who successfully brought an unprecedented number of innovations to the market.
Edison Award recipients represent "game-changing" products, services, excellence and leadership in innovation around four criteria: Concept, Value, Delivery and Impact.
Elite EXTRA won for its Delivery Network software, which solves driver shortages in the last mile by calling in crowdsourced and courier fleets to help augment product deliveries. Delivery Network is part of a suite of customizable software developed by Elite EXTRA to ease last mile delivery challenges.
