Larson Electronics Releases Work Area String Light, 500', 50 Light Sockets, 100W, No Lamps/Guards
KEMP, Texas, December 19, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 500-foot work area string light set for use as temporary lighting and for daisy chain connections across the work area site. This light set is approved for use in wet areas and features 50 black sockets rated at 100 watts each.
The WAL-SL-50-5X5-12.3-NLG work area string light operates on 120V AC and comes with 500 feet of 12/3 SJTW cable with 10 feet of space between each lamp and 5 feet of space at both ends. This unit features E26 sockets that can house an LED, compact fluorescent or incandescent bulb up to 100 watts. This unit covers a 5’ to 8’ radius with 10 to 15 foot candles of light when LEDs are used.
Larson Electronics’ string light for work area use features an eyelet with an S-hook for overhead hanging and hands-free use. The sockets in this unit are made of durable neoprene, and the string light set contains a rubber ‘O’ external ground ring that protects the lamps from dirt, oil and moisture. Several string lights can be linked together via 5’ whips terminated in twist-lock connectors. Suitable applications include industrial work sites.
