Larson Electronics Releases LED Light Tower, 1000W, 6.7' to 20', (4) LEDs With Diffusers, 50' Cord
KEMP, Texas, July 29, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a skid-mounted fold over light mast for deploying 1,000 watts of LED lighting to elevations up to 20 feet. Four 550-watt LED lights produce a wide beam spread for covering large work areas. The light tower is mounted to a skid base and features a rotating boom, allowing for 360-degrees of rotation.
The LM-SMWB-20-6.75-5S-4X250W-LED-OPQ-50C-CEE16 fold over LED light mast can extend to 20 feet and collapse to 6.7 feet and features a 50-foot 16/3 SOOW cord with a 16-amp IEC 60309 CEE pin/sleeve cord cap. The mast on this unit is elevated via a 1,000 lb hand winch with a 3/16-inch cable that is included. The light mast has four 250-watt LED lamps, producing 32,400 lumens of light each that is attached to the end of the telescoping pneumatic light boom.
Larson Electronics’ telescoping light mast’s floodlights produce a wide flood beam pattern with a combined total of 1,000 watts and 129,600 lumens of light. The lighting assembly is connected to the power source via a four-switch control box. Each LED light head has an opaque polycarbonate diffuser and can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40-degrees C to 80-degrees C. The housings are made of die-cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA.
The mast is mounted to a six-foot skid base and four side skid pockets enable forklifts and skid steers to transport the unit. Each floodlight is secured to the masthead with a trunnion style stainless-steel mounting bracket and can be adjusted through 180-degrees of vertical movement. This unit can withstand winds up to 125 mph and can lift and support up to 150 lb of light fixtures. Suitable applications include construction sites, temporary lighting and more.
