Larson Electronics Releases Hazardous Area Integrated LED Light Fixture, 19,200 Lumens, 30˚ Angle Wall Mount
KEMP, Texas, March 9, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting sector, announced the release of a hazardous area integrated LED light fixture designed to withstand high vibrations and wet marine environments. This light fixture produces a total of 19,200 lumens of light output and is equipped with a 30˚ angled wall mount.
The HALSS-48-2L-ITG-LED-30DB integrated LED light fixture is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations. The LEDs produce light in a 116˚ by 126˚ wide flood beam spread providing 50% more foot candles of illumination at eight feet compared to standard T5HO lamps. This unit’s housing is made of non-corrosive 304 stainless steel with a poured in gasket for sealing and an impact resistant acrylic diffuser.
Larson Electronics’ LED light fixture has no ballast that is typical with a fluorescent fixture resulting in reduced weight and a slimmer profile to maintain a T4C temperature rating. The LED array has a 50,000+ hour service life and produces 80% more illumination than standard T8 bulbs. This light draws on only 1.3 amps at 120 volts AC and is universal voltage capable. Suitable applications include for use in marine wet or damp locations where corrosion resistant fluorescent lights are required and use where heavy vibrations occur.
