Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof Network IP Camera, 20FPS, 4.0MP Resolution, Air Nozzle
KEMP, Texas, January 20, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof network IP camera for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This camera is dust and ignition proof, weather proof and tamper resistant. This camera provides operators with a live feed from inside tanks, reactors, vessels or other hazardous locations.
The EXPCMR-IP-POE-4MP-IR-APV explosion proof network IP camera features a built-in 1/3” progressive-scan CMOS image sensor that offers a 4.0MP resolution at 20 fps. The lens is wide angle with 83˚ field of view and features an integrated IR LED array with low light and nighttime visibility up to 45 feet. This camera uses advanced infrared technology, 120db true wide dynamic range, 3D digital noise reduction and a true day/night IR-cut filter removal for clear images.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof network IP camera link-up is achieved via a customer provided RJ45 ethernet cable and camera power is delivered via the same cable using PoE technology. A network video recorder is required to record the stream from the camera (not provided). This camera is live-view capable without an NVR system via remote access to the camera.
This unit comes equipped with a pressurized air nozzle on the front of the camera lens as this camera is designed for use in wet locations and grain processing facilities. This feature enables this camera to be used in locations where flying dust and debris is present. This unit features an ATEX/IECEx certified copper-free aluminum alloy body and includes an adjustable rear-mounted stainless-steel mounting handle/bracket.
Suitable applications include vessel, tank and reactor monitoring, remote observation of external facilities, and more.
