Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof 16" Box Fan/Blower/Ventilator, 4,450 CFM, 220V AC
KEMP, Texas, June 27, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof box fan/ventilator with a 15-foot static conductive duct that safely redirects stale air from hazardous location areas. This fan provides high 4,450+ CFM output for effective air flow in large work spaces. This unit is made for use with 220V AC electrical power and comes with a 30-foot line-in cord terminated with a European Schuko cord cap.
The EPF-E16-4450-220V-SCHUKO explosion proof 16” blower is rated for use in Class I, Group D; Class II, Groups E, F and G hazardous locations. This fan features a high efficiency 1.5 HP motor that is fully encapsulated and features a precision balanced non-sparking aluminum blower blade for high output and protection against accidental ignitions. This fan features a light weight, high strength anti-static glass reinforced ABS housing that is corrosion proof and chemical resistant.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof fan features an IP65-rated and rain tested switch enclosure. This unit operates on 220V AC 50/60Hz with a 1.5-amp draw and 1.2-amp constant draw after startup. This fan comes equipped with 30 feet of cord fitted with a two pin 16-amp rated Schuko plug. This unit features a 15-foot long single-ply polyester reinforced PVC vinyl fabric hose design duct with an external wearstrip reinforced with a spring steel wire helix. This unit has an operating temperature of -20˚F to 180˚F and is suitable for use in commercial and industrial hazardous locations.
