Larson Electronics Releases Explosion Proof 1.5 Horsepower Motor, 208V 1PH 60Hz, 1725 RPM

This unit is compatible with 208V AC single phase 60Hz and offers 8.658 FLA. This motor features a NEMA 56H motor frame for installation in industrial systems through an integrated mounting foot.
The EXP-MTR-1P-208-1.5HP-1.8K-56H fractional explosion proof motor is meant for use in flammable work sites and is thermally protected operating with 208V AC single phase 60Hz. This unit offers 8.658 full-load amps and 5.28 amps of no-load current and is capable of generating 1,725 RPM. This durable explosion proof motor provides 4.51 lbs. ft. of torque with 200 percent locked rotor torque and 260 percent breakdown torque.
Larson Electronics’ totally enclosed and fan-cooled motor features an ambient temperature rating of 50 degrees C and is equipped with aluminum endshields. This unit is also protected by a NEMA 56H motor frame and features Class F insulation with a 1.0 service factor. This unit is suitable for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G and comes with 24” of +2/-0 leads for electrical connections and an unassembled aluminum conduit box.
This unit is foot mounted to support the weight of the motor with feet typically fixed on the surface reducing unnecessary movements. Suitable applications for this motor include use in hazardous locations, industrial facilities, for manufacturing, food processing, and more.
