Larson Electronics Releases 56W Explosion-Proof LED Fixture, 7,000 Lumens, Dimmable, DALI Network
KEMP, Texas, January 7, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof LED fixture for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. This unit comes equipped with a DALI-PWM signal converter and features a dimmable LED light with a T4 temperature rating. The controls for the unit are facilitated by an analog output module using the Modbus TCP/IP protocol.
The HAL-ADC-48-2L-LED-D-V2 explosion-proof LED fixture is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations. This unit features two 4-foot long 0-10V dimmable LED lamps featuring a T4 temperature rating. The LEDs in this unit each produce 3,500 lumens of light for a total of 7,000 lumens of light output. The LEDs are protected by an aluminum framed shatter and heat resistant clear acrylic lens that is secured with 10 draw latches and a copper-free aluminum alloy fixture.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof LED fixture is an Aevum Network Controlled Lighting Solution that uses Modbus TCP/IP or DALI to enable connected and intelligent illumination using existing networks. Real-time monitoring of connected equipment is possible via web-based panels and allows operators to switch the unit on or off, configure activation settings and more. This unit does not have a ballast and the LEDs offer 50,000+ hours of lamp life and comes standard in a 5600K color temperature.
This LED fixture is universal voltage capable and operates on 100-277V AC 50/60Hz without modifications. The analog output module on this unit is equipped with five channels that can be configured accordingly. This fixture works with 10/100 Base-T ethernet ports and allows static IP address assignment during setup. This unit can be configured with bracket end or pendant mounting. Suitable applications include DALI lighting networks, remote lighting networks, and more.
