Larson Electronics Releases 3PH Double Throw Explosion-Proof Manual Transfer Switch, 30 Amps
KEMP, Texas, April 19, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof manual transfer switch, allowing operators to manually switch between two power sources, isolate power and switch loads in flammable and combustible work sites.
The EPNFDS-MTS-30A-3P explosion-proof manual transfer has a three-pole double throw configuration and is rated at 600V AC. This unit can be used to switch between two sources of power, including between line voltage and a generator. This is a non-fused manual transfer with a lockable switch to deter tampering, with room for up to three locks in an on/off position. This device is made from copper-free aluminum and features a rectangular, bolted cover design.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof manual transfer is rated for use in NEMA 4X environments and can be used indoors and outdoors. Access to a total of three NPT hubs, with two 2-inch NPT hubs on the top and one 0.5-inch hub located at the bottom of the enclosure, is available to operators. Suitable applications include switching electrical loads, power isolation, emergency power systems and more.
