Larson Electronics Releases 300W Solar LED Light Tower, 7.5-Foot Trailer, 30-Foot Tower, Backup LPG Generator
KEMP, TEXAS, August 26, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 300-watt solar LED light tower with an instant start backup propane generator. This unit allows operators to deploy 300 watts of intense LED illumination to elevations up to 30 feet. This unit features a telescoping light tower that folds for easy transportation and a rotating boom that offers 360˚ of rotation. This unit has two 265-watt solar panels and a 200-amp capacity battery bank.
The SPLT-.53K-LM30-6XWP500-ISPG-TLR7 300-watt solar LED light tower features a 0.53KW solar generator system and delivers 24 volts for lighting. This light tower comes with a 3,500-watt backup instant start propane generator to power the lights when sufficient sunlight is not available. The telescoping boom can be extended to 30 feet and deploy four LED light heads and can be collapsed to 13.5 feet. This unit can withstand winds up to 125 mph at 13.5 feet and features four 1,000 lb hand crank leveling jacks for leveling.
Larson Electronics’ solar LED light tower is made of square steel tubing with a base section measuring 6.6' long and 6" by 6” by 3/16” thick, a lower section measuring 6.78’ long and 5” by 5” by 3/16” thick, a middle section measuring 6.93’ long and 4” by 4” by 1/8” thick, an upper section measuring 7.08’ long and 3” by 3” by 1/8” thick and a top section measuring 7.58’ long and 2” by 2” by 1/8” thick. Each section has a 1’ overlap and is extended to full height using a 1,000 lb hand winch with 3/16” galvanized steel cable. This unit is equipped with six high output LED fixtures.
The 300-watt system offers 30,000 lumens of light output with a color temperature rating of 6500K. The LEDs are housed within a waterproof aluminum housing that is powder-coated. Each lamp can be powered individually and a dusk-to-dawn day/night sensor allows for autonomous operation. The two solar panels on this unit are mounted to a frame angled at 45˚ for optimized light intake. Suitable applications include outdoor work settings, construction sites, sports events and more.
