Larson Electronics Releases 30' Explosion-Proof Light Mast With 14' Trailer, 300 Watts, 50' SOOW Cord
KEMP, Texas, January 6, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof light mast attached to a 14-foot, single-axle trailer. This light mast provides operators with a way to safely and quickly deploy two 150-watt, explosion-proof LED light heads of up to 30 feet in height. This light mast folds over and features a rotating boom, allowing for 360˚ of rotation with a removable masthead.
The LM-30-3S-TLR-2XEPL.150RT-LED explosion-proof light mast can easily deploy two 150-watt explosion proof LED light heads (included) that produce up to 35,000 lumens of bright light in hazardous locations. This three-stage telescoping steel light mast is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This unit can extend up to 30 feet and be collapsed to 13.5 feet for effective coverage.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof telescoping light mast is made of square steel tubing with a lower section measuring 12’ long and 4” by 4” by 1/8” thick, a middle section measuring 9.5’ long and 3” by 3” by 1/8” thick, and an upper section measuring 8.5’ long and 2” by 2” by 1/8” thick with a 1’ overlap on each section. This unit comes with a 1,000 lb hand winch with a 3/16” cable for easy elevation.
This unit comes with 50’ of 16/3 SOOW line-in cord that is fitted with an explosion-proof cord cap. Suitable applications include hazardous locations, oil fields, gas and petroleum processing plants, and more.
