Twenty years later and still going strong

Twenty years later, you can’t go anywhere without hearing someone with an over the top, strict personality being referred to as the "something" Nazi.  The popularity of this episode/character has only increased with each passing year.  And now with the $180 million dollar acquisition of the streaming rights by HULU, an entire generation of new fans are learning to love this show and in particular, this episode.  “The enduring appeal of ‘Seinfeld’ is just the absolute brilliance of it,” said Thomas. “Even comedy experts can’t quite pinpoint it. So many elements went into this show about nothing.”

Today, Thomas’ career is over the top busy.  This year alone brought an international Pepsi commercial, publication of an autobiographical cook book “Confessions of a Soup Nazi, An Adventure in Acting and Cooking”, an appearance at “The Apartment” (a replica of Jerry Seinfeld’s TV apartment built in conjunction with Hulu’s streaming launch), guest roles in several independent films, several interviews on Fox News, Barnes & Noble book signings, along with numerous personal appearances and charity events.  Earlier this year, Larry signed a deal with The Original Soupman to represent its national expansion of its Tetra pak carton soups in supermarkets as well as its franchised restaurants and Soupmobiles.  Later this year, he will be appearing at Rhode Island Comicon on November 6-8 in Providence, Rhode Island and at Steel City Con on December 4-6 in Pittsburgh, PA.
