Bud Lange announces that April M. Valdez has joined the Lange Graphics, Inc. sales force. April's prior experience has been in pre-press and customer service. and for Bud Lange the lack of sales experience is not a problem.
Online, February 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Bud Lange, President of Lange Graphics, Inc. has announced that April Valdez is now a member of the Lange Sales team. April has twelve years experience in printing, from a start as pre-flight & planning to pre-press operator then Sr. pre-press operator and then as Customer Service Representative. The lack of experience in sales is not an issue according to Bud Lange. He has a successful track record of hiring sales people from the production side of the business and watching them climb to the top in printing sales. For a person to do well in sales without the prior experience doesn't surprise Mr. Lange at all since he was in traditional pre-press (then called Stripping) before he started Lange Graphics.
When asked if she was targeting a particular segment in printing April explained that she was going to pursue the entire range of Lange's capabilities. This means she can help her customers with printed envelopes ran on the Jet envelope press, variable data and image products produced on their HP Indigo digital offset press, pocket folders and sales brochures on their 29" Komori press or Lenticular plastic products printed on their 40" KBA press. Bud Lange believes it is an advantage first and foremost for customers and therefore ultimately good for Lange Graphics for a sales person to have a strong background in digital pre-press, as April does.
April and her husband Scott have been married 20 years. Both are Colorado natives and spend most of their spare time with their 3 boys as their activities include hockey, lacrosse and baseball.
