"Ladder Jockey": Allows One to Work With Ease and Efficiency When on a Ladder
New York, NY, May 25, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Decorating and painting (or repainting) is a job that can be long, tiresome and often difficult. This new product is a painter’s helper and supports the paint as well as tools and other products when the user is up on a ladder. It prevents the need to be up and down for tools and will also prevent spills. It provides easier access to the paint and the tools. It is a ladder user’s helper that features interchangeable support rings able to hold a quart or gallon bucket of paint. The Ladder Jockey keeps everything the user needs within reach.
The Ladder Jockey is made of a durable combination of sturdy plastic and aluminum material and generally features a “Y” shapewith the upper extensions rounded for optimal use. The open interchangeable support rings vary in size and are designed to suspend either a one quart can or a one-gallon bucket of paint. A detachable magnetic brush mount and paint screen are included. The tray insert, a tool storage area, and a mesh storage bag are part of the Ladder Jockey. It will fit securely into the hollow ladder rung and works from both sides of the ladder. The attachment holding the Ladder Jockey is fitted with a bubble leveler, able to pivot and tighten into a level (and secure) position while in use. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Ladder Jockey.
The Patent Pending Ladder Jockey was invented by Russell Durbin, Jr., a professional owner/operator of a painting business for more than 30 years of Westfield, NJ, who said, “I have been in the home improvement and painting business for many years and the Ladder Jockey will help get the job done easier, more safely and it helps avoid spills. I have been using my own prototype and it pays off in so many ways. It works.”
