LA Soccer Stadium Opening Ceremony Features Live Special Effects and Celebrities
LOS ANGELES, April 21, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The dedication event for the new home of the Los Angeles Football Club was celebrated with a great fanfare for the arrival of Major League Soccer to Los Angeles.
The ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Banc of California Stadium included the ownership team “cutting” a giant ribbon wrapped at an entrance of the new 22,000-seat soccer-specific venue.
I'm excited to welcome the Los Angeles Football Club to the City of Angels. Los Angeles loves soccer and now the greatest sports town in America gets even better. I look forward to celebrating the inaugural season and soon the MLS Cup in the City of Los Angeles.

Live special effects were used to highlight the ribbon ceremony and to extend the excitement of the important moment. The special effect team of TLC Creative used white sparkle fountains and cryo jets to mark the moment, while also shooting out a climactic burst of streamers. TLC also provided aerial camera drones, showcasing great views of the new stadium near downtown Los Angeles.

The 360 screen-drop, designed by TLC, energizes fans with huge visual impact at every Lakers home game in Staples Center. The first reveal (and then) release system, was also one of the first projection mapping shows in the NBA, with video projected onto the cylinder of fabric. The magnetic release system was designed and built by TLC Creative’s owner Kevin Bilida.

They are making live events look more incredible with the non-pyro white sparkle fountains, which kicked off the LA stadium ribbon reveal.
